I probably still need to grow spiritually but I am VERY attached to whether you live or not. I vote for living ...for a very long time.

My last sponsor died at age 86 with 52 years of sobriety. Had he felt like you, he would have died 15 years earlier and I would have not have had the gift of my time with this incredible man and teacher. It's not all about us I'm thinking. I love you my friend.

Maybe your sponsor was around to serve you not due to a desire for longevity, but simply because he willingly embraced whatever life presented. That's my intention. My story is that the universe asks of us just one thing: to bring all the love we can to the moment we're in. Gandhi's life goal was to die with the name of God on his lips (which he achieved). Compared to that, how long I'm alive seems small potatoes. Although, I must say, the older I get the less I take seriously, which is better than winning the lottery. Here's hoping we get to hang out this side of heaven. Much love from Vermont.

Very well spoken my friend, this resonates with me very much. It is no life living in fear and denying our soul. And the greed of health care and pharmaceutical providers speaks loudly.
Namaste♥
